[ FoxTorrent ]

I stumbled upon an article on TechCrunch about this new Firefox Add-on called FoxTorrent which lets you stream, YES STREAM, BitTorrent downloads and manage them from within Firefox!, no need to use Opera anymore is it? XD...well well both of them have their stuff...

I'll install the add-on tomorrow and we'll see, it was about time to replace
Azureus, or Zudeo or Vuze or whatever they are calling it this minute, man are they annoying those name changes, but what it bugged me so much was that they only offer some content for the United States of America -_-

[ Lionel Messi Goal With Mexico 86 Narration ]

The narration of Victor Hugo Morales on Maradona's goal dubbed over Messi's goal video and subbed as if it had been narrated for it...

GRACIAS DIOS POR EL FÚTBOL!!

[ Lionel Messi vs Diego Maradona ]

I couldn't call myself a soccer fan [ and even more, a Barcelona fan ] if I didn't post this, this is just amazing...it is without a doubt the best goal I have ever watched live, there are just no words to describe it. On the left you can see Maradona's goal against England during the Mexico 86 Worldcup and on the right you can see Messi's goal against Getafe during the 07 Copa del Rey cup [ yesterday ]...interesting how history repeats itself, isn't it?...Magnificent!

[ Six-Dimensional Space-Time Theory ]

I came across a post on Slashdot about an article summarizing a Six-Dimensional Space-Time Theory proposed instead of the Four-Dimensional that is commonly conceptualized. The main difference between this theory and the Superstring Theory is that the latter proposes more spacial dimensions [ 10, 11 or 26 ] while this new theory proposes more time-like dimensions.

It's really interesting, I hope you enjoy reading the article as much as I did, although I must add that I was rather disappointed to see that the full paper explaining the theory is only 9 pages long :P [ 3 of them being references XD ], I have yet to read that one.

[ Google Analytics ]

Google Analytics, another service by Google, this one might actually interest you XD. Just by putting a short JavaScript code in every page of your website you can track down even the smallest detail of your visitors, even if they have showered today or not! XD, OK maybe not that much detail but you can get to know the screen resolution, web browser, operating system, the referring source from which they visit you, their country + region, of course how many visits + pageviews per visit your site has had and a somewhat big ETC.

What I like is that you can use it in a really professional way [ viewing the reports as webmaster/marketer ] or you can just leave it at a very basic level [ viewing them as an "executive" ] and the best of all, it's free. I recommend it and I hope you try it and let me know what you think...and yes I'm talking to you, the red-headed from Calgary, Canada; it says here that you haven't made your homework, go do it now!!! XD.

Thanks to Roberto who first gave me a sneak peak demo :P for telling me about it. I'm posting you a screenshot of a report from April 13th so that you can get the idea of what you're missing:

[ Gratitude ]

What a good day to thank God all He has given me and all He hasn't given me, I know I can do it personally praying alone in my room but I want you all [ whichever low number "all" represents XD ] to know His love. I know some of you do know His love but I want to re-enforce your beliefs and mostly your faith in Him and remind you that He is there and always will be, because despite the sinner I am He has always been there for me and He has taken care of me and put the right people [ and of course the wrong people ] in my way to make me be who I am right now and for all that I am very grateful. Just put your problems in His hands and know that He'll do whatever is best for you.

Accept Jesus as your savior and be his friend, but don't do it as a set of rules you must apply to your life or traditions you have to follow and keep, please don't do it as a religion, but do it just as if he were a friend who will always be there for you and give you his advice whenever you need it.

In my personal experience I tend to relate more to God than to Jesus although I have faith in both of them, I think God talks to you in the way you need Him; in my case I have always needed a father [ although I've had a great mother and brother that have acted as one :P ] more than a brother [ cause I have the best ] or friend [ or mother, cause I have the best as well ;) ] and God has been my father all along, the best father I could have had...so I think that if you need a friend or a brother God will talk to you through Jesus and if you need a father like me, then God will talk to you Himself.

I am posting the lyrics to a song my girlfriend [ the best in the world, the love of my life, the other half of my soul ] burned in a CD for me, I liked them a lot today that I listened to it for the first time. It's by DC Talk and it's called Red letters which [ according to what my girl read ] refers to the fact that in some English versions of the Bible they used to print [ or still print? or what? ^3^ ] everything that was spoken by God and/or Jesus in red letters. Try to listen to the song if you can [ you can play it in the widget I have put in this post but you need the Flash plugin for your browser to do so (btw, for any legal stuff, I didn't upload it, I just found it and streamed it) ], it is really really good, like a mixture of Dream Theater with Queen and something else...:P

Pages filled with a holy message
Sealed with a kiss from heaven
On a scroll long ago
Phrases, words that were bound together
Now have the power to sever
Like a sword evermore

Heed the words divinely spoken
May your restless heart be broken
Let the supernatural take hold

(chorus)
There is love in the red letters
There is truth in the red letters
There is hope for the hopeless
Peace and forgiveness
There is life in the red letters
In the red letters

One man came to reveal a mystery
Changing the course of history
Made the claim he was God
Ageless, born of a virgin Mary
Spoke with a voice that carried through the years
Its persevered

Heed the words divinely spoken
May your restless heart be broken
Let the supernatural take hold

(repeat chorus)

(bridge)
What you say moves me, revelation, come and take me
The more I look [the more I look] the more I see [the more I see]
The word of God [the word of god] is what I need

Oh yeah, oh yeah
Yeah, its the book of love
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Its the book of love

(repeat chorus)

Speak to me, breathe in me new life [x2]
Let him in your heart [x4]

[ Paul Hindemith ][ Quintet for Clarinet and Strings, Op. 30 ]

Sometimes I feel like Stravinsky's music is kind of "too silent", or at least it has too many moments in which there is only one instrument playing a couple of notes for a few minutes and nothing more... and it is not a bad thing the first 100 times you listen to it XD but then, I don't know, it gets kind of boring to wait for a part you enjoy among all those "silences" [ of course there is people who enjoy those "silences" but I am not going to listen to music to enjoy "silences" XD ]. There is also Shostakovich when I have the need to listen to this kind of chamber [ classical? ] music [ which I quite don't know how is called... modern classical (XD)? neo-classical? progressive classical? *shrugs* ] but I don't feel much comfortable with some of his instrumental compositions, I prefer his operas although I have only listened to one called Babi Yar [ his 13th "Symphony" ]; I feel sometimes the rhythm [ if there is one ] is hard to follow on his instrumental compositions.

Now I have found Paul Hindemith and I listened only to his composition "Quintet for Clarinet and Strings" [ Opus 30 ] and I enjoy it more than Stravinsky's or Shosta
kovich's instrumental compositions, I think it is less complicated than their music, but yet without getting too easy to listen to and maintaining an "avant-garde" style in which I find high pleasure to digest. The rhythms are easier to follow and the "silences" are not too long, only the necessary; I have been listening to this composition over and over during the past days and everytime I do the "silences" are more bearable [ in opposition to Stravinsky's :P ].

I am providing you the link to download the 5 movements of this composition recorded live at the Donnell Library Center, NYC on March 11th 1996 and performed by Gary Dranch (Clarinet), Yuri Kharenko (Violin), Alex Kirillov (Violin), Alexander Rees(Viola) and Vladimir Penteleyev (Cello). The files are hosted on mp3.com.au and they are provided by them free of charge so any legal complaint you have, please contact them. [ left-click the link and search for the "Download:
" link, it will open a pop-up window in which you must right-click the "MP3" image and select "Save Link As.." or "Save Target As...", then rename the file from "download.asp" to something like "Paul Hindemith - Opus 30 - 1st and 2nd Movements.MP3" (notice that you must delete the ".asp" file extension and change it for an ".MP3" one) ]

1st and 2nd Movements -- Sehr Lebhaft & Ruhig.
3rd Movement -- Schneller Laendler.
4th and 5th Movements -- Arioso - Sehr Ruhig & Sehr Lebhaft - wie im ersten satz.

I hope you enjoy them, do post some feedback, please :P

[ El Salvador ][ Most Metal Searcher Country ]

I don't know how I happened to get to the Google Trends page a few minutes ago, on which you can "See what the world is searching for". I decided to look up some of my interests and see the Cities and Countries in the world that most searched for them.

First I searched for Goth and as you can see we can almost officially declare Sheffield, United Kingdom as the "Gothest" city in the world; as for the regions, Iceland [ logically (no offense, guys) ] is the "Gothest" country in the world [ UK with a honorable second place ]. Then I decided to widen my search a little bit out of the Goth subculture and I searched for Gothic Metal, surprisingly La Paz, Bolivia is the city of the world that most searches for Gothic Metal! and as for the region Bolivia appears as well as number one, whereas my country El Salvador appears in a not so despicable sixth place!! and yes I am quite surprised and proud of it!! :P. But I was even most surprised when I searched for Metal!! El Salvador has the number one position in the search for METAL \m/, of course this can be due to other reasons rather than the Metal musical genre but being honest I don't think it is the case, Chile for example appears as the second country to search for that [ and number one city: Santiago, Chile ], it is well known that Chileans like Metal a lot but they also are producers of copper :P so this could be an influential factor in the results, El Salvador on the other hand...produces nothing! XD we export people !! OK, that is not completely true, we MIGHT produce something but we are not producers of any kind of metal [ that I know of ].

So feel proud people!! not anymore just because of our Pupusas but now also because we are the most avid Metal searchers IN THE WORLD \m/, !!!! XD. I bet you're already wondering how this affects our society and everyday life huh?...well, go find out yourself! :P...I will just say one thing: we could be worst if we didn't listen to this much Metal, because listening to Metal works as a catharsis for living in such a troubled place...IMHO.
